"Objects are the protagonists of my works. These are not ordinary objects, but true objects of affection. The imaginary and the tension that arise from their presence lead me, through different paths, to explore reality in the meanders of the mind. Vases, music boxes, chairs, armchairs become symbols that, like a linguistic code, seek to describe thoughts and sensations which, translating into images, open up to perspectives and visions. Memories, events, thoughts, conventions take on different forms, assume new perspectives, in a continuous and sometimes rhythmic shift of points of view. The fragmentations, condensations, oppositions, and superimpositions that follow in this expressive mode are reminiscent of the ways of the great avant-garde movements of the 20th century, which were the first to translate the changes and needs related to the contemporary world. My work, born as a need for a realistic representation of objects, has passed through a search for essentiality to a deeper investigation. The object, which increasingly assumes for me the value of a communicative symbol, allows me, like a sort of mirroring, to see the invisible and to give shape to my thoughts."
"This place is my refuge: I find myself here because I am surrounded by my objects. Here I reestablish the threads of the past, which constantly revives, enriching the present with new nuances, new colors, new visions."
